So this last year has been a whirlwind of new adventures. To start off 2016 I won the Peoples Choice Award with the support and voting power of many clients family and friends. While preparing for my project Urban Portraits Exhibition in collaboration with the City of Calgary Neighborhood Services dept I was Diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. That took my year in a new direction. One that I feel truly blessed to have traveled as I have been surrounded with the love and help of family from India and friends and community here in Calgary and abroad.
With all treatments finished and 2017 in its early days all I can say is I am back with such purpose that this year will be the best yet.
